Fabulous boots! I just got em in and I did not read the reviews first. So, of course they are a bit too big. But, just about a half size. I will deal as they are georgeous! I must have bought 20 pairs of boots this year but, none of them are pink and fluffy like these. they are extremely well made,certainly look fancier than their more famous conterpart and these are made in Australia, not china like the uggs. Although,it would have been nicer had they included a dust bag like the others do. but, for bucks I am not complaining at all. what a bargain! for that price I will buy a plastic boot box for em. They are not fuggs at all, but wonderful in their own right. extremely rich looking. there is a tiny emu tag on the back of them and the ties are heavy grosgrain twill and very long. But, they can easily be trimmed to fit. They do scruch up a bit on skinny legs[mine] and because of that the look will differ a bit from the photo,but the ties make it that you can put any kind of pants leg into them and just tie it in and they will not scrunch at the knees. All in all, I am very happy with them.

i bought a pair of these emus in the fall. unfortunately, i had to get them a size too big since that's what was in stock. wearing a boot too big seemed to make them wear down faster--they sort of sagged around my leg and i dragged my feet when i walked. i made sure, this time, to get the correct size--one size down from what i normally wear. i think they'll last longer now that i have the correct fit. i haven't worn them this winter, though, as they're not snow boots. with the light color, i'm saving them for dry days in the spring and fall.

What do you think about fashion in 2009?

Fashion is always changing, sometimes for the better / sometimes for the worse but at the end of the day, we like the classic / minimal look to pass the test of time. Although everyone appreciates a saville row tailored suit, the reality is you have more people working from home or in a casual office enviroment. Theyre more comfortable in a tee & jeans, tee and designer sweats or some sort of combination. Its no longer a sloppy look since designers have tightend up the fit & color options and its become more acceptable in the office, especially at younger companies.

What about fashion and internet, is it a good alliance?

The web has obviously been a wonderful alliance for all business. The consumer has more choices in a matter of minutes than they would in an entire day of shopping at the malls and you dont have to pay for gasoline. Appearance and style has always been important and always will. Call it vanity, expression or necessity, we all have style, whether its bad or not is up for debate. But there is no doubt in my mind that style is an important aspect in for living a more exciting and interesting life. People with a great personality seem to give off more style even if they are wearing the same get up as the next guy with a bad attitude who thinks style will carry him alone. If you are constantly following the crowd, it can become mundane but if you are diverse and comfortable with your style, its a major plus on how it comes off to others. I think its only smart to keep your appearance looking good. Sure, there might be too much focus on appearance in some circles but I think theres no doubt that someones overall appearance is a direct reflection of a persons vibe and personality.
